Participants will rotate their daily lessons on a weekly basis with a master voice teacher and coach pairing.  Each teaching pair will specialize in a specific style and language for the four week period: Italian, French, German, English/Czech/Musical Theatre; enabling all participants the opportunity of working with each teaching artist for a full week on each language and style.

At the end of each week there will be two performance evenings where all participants will perform a concert of arias learned for the general public at venues around Northern Michigan. There will also be a gala scenes performance presented at the end of the program.

In addition there will be weekly workshops such as Body Mapping and Alexander Technique taught by faculty member MaryJean Allen; Musical Theatre styles and techniques; Audition Strategies; and other topics to be announced.


To train young singers in the 'whole body' approach to singing using the best bel canto training along with the most up-to-date Body Mapping and acting techniques.
